Saraswathi English Medium School recently hosted an event on June 5th mainly focused on raising awareness about the impact of deforestation on the environment. As part of the initiative, Smt. Sowbhagya provided insightful information to the students about the critical issue of deforestation and its environmental consequences.
To further engage students and foster a deeper understanding of environmental topics, the institution organized a series of competitions for both the lower primary and high school sections. These competitions included a plant identification contest and a debate on the topic “Medicinal Plants for Future Generations.”
The event aimed to educate students about the importance of preserving our natural resources and the role of medicinal plants in ensuring a sustainable future. It was well-received by the students, who actively participated and showcased their knowledge and enthusiasm for environmental conservation.
